There are big days on the calendar to celebrate, and there's National Burger Day. While most are unclear on exactly why May 28 wears the "National Burger Day" title, this month, we're taking it as a great excuse to double up on the special sauce and double down on the guilt.

On Thursday 28 May, we're celebrating the day of the burg with a $10 burger & chips special from 11.00am until sold out.

And what's more? The occasion is perfectly timed with the return of a classic cheeseburger to our much-loved (and much-celebrated) burger menu.

The re-vamped cheeseburger burger is a modern take on a classic cheeseburger, featuring a wagyu beef patty, grilled and layered with cheese, stacked with lettuce, tomato, white onion, pickled jalapeño and house burger sauce — all encompassed in a fluffy potato bun.

For those who prefer meat-free, the classic Southern-Fried Cauliflower Burger will also be on offer for $10 on National Burger Day. Stacked with red cabbage slaw, chipotle and pickles, it's both vegan and vegetarian friendly.

Of course, both will be served with a side of crinkle cut chips.
